We are looking for a new Advocate to join our team…

Our Case Work team provides independent advocacy support to around 700 people every year across Solihull.

We work across all types of statutory advocacy (IMCA, DoLS, IMHA, Care Act and NHS Complaints) as well as non-statutory roles to support people to explore their views, wishes and feelings, to speak up for themselves and to exercise their rights. Previous experience of providing independent advocacy would be advantageous but not essential.

We are looking for a new full-time Advocate (37 hours per week) to join our experienced, committed and friendly team.

About the person

We are looking for someone with a demonstrable commitment to social inclusion, the principles of independent advocacy and person-centred practice. Excellent listening and communication skills are essential as is experience of the health and social care sector. Previous experience of providing independent advocacy would be advantageous but not essential.

  • Salary between £24,406 - £26,039 dependent on experience and qualification
